How do we price detailing our services? How do we price our services.Prices are determined by the size of the vehicle and then the condition. For instance, a smaller car like a Honda Civic is usually priced at the bottom of the range of each service and large SUV's are at the top. However, the time needed to complete the work can vary somewhat if it is full of dog hair, has a number of large spills or, hasn't been cleaned in years and may actually take as long as a Suburban. This may lead to a little more expense. Please refer to our auto detail price list What area do we cover?We work mostly in the Monmouth and Ocean County areas, but do cover all of New Jersey and certain areas of New York. Please call or e-mail for details. Can we come to your office?Yes, we frequently come to offices to detail cars and trucks. All we need is room to work around the vehicle. We can supply our own water and electricity if necessary. Are there additional charges for pet hair?Yes and no, depending on the interior fabric and the amount of pet hair will determine whether additional charges are applied. Please refer to our Auto Detail price list Is buffing included in the price?No, this is not included in the average detail price. We've found that except for the most extreme cases, either a good waxing or a using a paint cleaner then wax can achieve very good results without the added time and expense. A few extra dollars spent on paint cleaning before wax gives very good results. Beware of details with buffing included, the proof is swirls on a dark colored vehicle on a sunny day which may look worse that when they started. I have scratches on my vehicle.The quickest way to determine whether we can fix scratches is the fingernail test. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail we probably aren't going to be able to buff it out. In other words, if the paint is gone, there isn't anything we can do with it. My car has paint sprayed on itOverspray can come from a variety of causes. Someone in you neighborhood has been spray painting the outdoor furniture or, perhaps new construction crews have been painting the new house next door. In most cases this can be fixed with our clay bar technique. Are there special discounts for multiple vehicles?Discounts can be arranged on a case by case basis. For instance, we would be happy to discount multiple vehicles at the same location at the same time if each are at least average or better condition or, a standing appointment situation. Standing appointments such as an office location can be arranged where everyone saves. How much lead time to get an appointment?It depends. The end of the week (Wed,Thur, Fri, Sat) are always busier than the beginning of the week. In general we need approximately 4 to 5 days to get you in our schedule. But call or e-mail anyway as we may have had a cancellation. Do we accept credit cards?No, we only accept checks or cash at this time. Are gift certificates available?Yes, we have them. We will need to know which service you would like and what make an model of the vehicle. Gift certificates are always pre-paid and can be mailed to you or the recipient. What is not included in a typical detail price?Paint overspray, acid rain problems, buffing, major scratches/dents, road marking paint, excessive pet hair, work vehicles and moisture problems. I bought a smokers car. What can we do about that?Smoke odor on one the most challenging problems for a detailer. We have to clean the entire interior including the headliner to minimize or eliminate the odor. Sometimes, another treatment is required. What are our work days?Monday thru Saturday, 8:00-5:00. Special arrangements can be may for an additional fee. |
